I was working on translating the poem but my laptop’s HD died and someone came out with a better translation anyway.
Here it is
As-salamu alaykum wa rahmatullah wa barakatuh . . .
A lot of times people think that the files on their old hard drives are irretrievable but I have found that many a time they are still accessible (as long as the hard drive was totally thrashed and trashed). You might want to consult a professional as to whether or not you can recover anything. Even so-called “deleted” files are actually still on your hard drive (as long as there is still some space left on the drive).
Sincerely your brother and servant,
khalil abu asmaa
Asalam Alaykum sidi
What happened was the needle that read the HD got loose and ripped the HD to pieces. I appreciate the effort though.
Oh, and I meant to say: “(as long as the hard drive was not totally thrashed and trashed)”…
Having that “not” there is kind of important… LOL
Well this is a commentary, is there a translation of just the poem?
ps: you’re cute 🙂
oh wait, is the italics the poem and non-italics commentary? I know the poem is longer than that!
The translation is intermittent.
P.S. I know :p
