Remembering Damascus

Every time someone someone mentions a hadith from Sahih Muslim (yes, I still remember which ones I heard through those nine days) I remember being in Jama’ Sheikh Muhyadin ibn Arabi listening to Sheikh Muhammed for hours.  I remember exactly where I was sitting and I start imagining myself being there, hoping that maybe I’ll be transported there somehow.  I really miss Damascus and everything about it.  I’ll be there soon enough insha’Allah.

  1. I was only there for one night, and in Damascus for 15 but I know the feeling. Although I don’t know if I’ll be there again :(. In shaa` Allah. Keep me in your du’as Sidi.
