My Sister got Married

In the name of Allah, the most compassionate and the most merciful
Praise be to him who created men and women so that they could live in harmony with one another.
And may Allah grant mercy and peace upon our beloved Prophet, leader of the messengers Muhammad.

I think many people, like myself, are dissapointed by the lack of engagement announcements but cheer up for here is one.  On Thursday night on January 3rd, Allah blessed us with an engagement between Danya Shakfeh and Abdul-Wahab Suleiman.  May Allah make their marriage prosperous and stable!  Good men for good women.

As for those of you who are not married, do not delay once you have the means.  Imam Muslim relates that our beloved messenger said “Oh young men, whoever amongst you is able to, should marry for it lowers the gaze and guards the chastity and whoever is unable should fast for it does the same.”  I apologize for the poor translation.

In addition to this they should eat less in general and make more thikr for those are general treatments of the heart as well.

And if someone who is able to marry is having trouble finding a spouse, they should recite verse 24 of the 28th chapter of the Quran (Surat Qisas) 100 times after the morning prayer and 100 times after sunset prayer and they should also read surat Yasin at least once a day (though in general everyone should read Surat Yasin at least once a day).

And Allah knows best.
